Presale Associate – Intern

Our Lagos development team is expanding with multiple opportunities available at different levels. We are looking for a young graduate to join our Pre-sales Associate Internship program which in a short period of term would build capacity to function as a permanent Associate with the responsibilities highlighted below.

Purpose of Job

This role works closely with the business development team to close deals, supporting the team through the sales process, understanding customers’ requirements, recommending solutions, proposal development and proposal presentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the development and implementation of the entire pre-sale process focused on delivering accurate and timely proposals.
  • Prepare analytical reports upon request (related to sales, presales, …)
  • Liaise with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that can be related to customers.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers through understanding customers’ requirements and liaising with the technical team to recommend the most suitable solutions and services.
  • Work on RFI, RFPs and RFQs including SoWs.
  • Introduce creative ideas for Marketing Campaigns.
  • Support additional projects, as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • You possess a Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent PowerPoint and MS Excel skills. Basic familiarity with Enterprise software applications such as ERP, CRM, etc
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to customers
  • Ability to identify limitations, challenges, gather requirements and develop use cases based on customer’s business needs
  • Knowledge in IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure will be advantageous
  • You possess strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
